The Chimera

I began with an idea of using various blacks as a base layer. As the weeks went by and shapes materialized, light washes of various colors found there way across the surface. The final painting is both subtle and flashy, with soft textured details and thin metallic washes. Sometimes flat, sometimes shimmering, The Chimera is waiting to engage.
