Yes. I Paint Flat. Just as the world is flat, I prefer to create art on the horizontal plane. All of my applications and processes happen on the floor, on a table, or most importantly, directly on the surface of Planet Earth.

I won’t get into a ton of detail here, but I never liked the whole art easel/artist interface. I have a lot more fun pushing paint around and watching pigments move and interact on a flat surface. I use a lot of liquid, and sometimes I throw random texture and debris in the mix to add details. The whole concept is up in the air for me right now, as I am constantly exploring new ideas.
